legend, Charlie Daniels, who is gracing the City of
This show is important and it's not just about the music.
Charlie Daniels is performing in order to raise awa reness about the importance
of prostate cancer detection and screening. It is a celebration of the life of
this gracious musician, who was diagnosed in May, 2001, with prostate cancer.
He's a patriot who cares about his country and his fellow countrymen and wants
to spread the word to everyone that this disease is preventable and curable.
The event is also a fundraiser for Cancer Care Options
which is an
Charlie Daniels, an inductee of the Grand Ole Opry and
Musicians Hall of Fame, has stayed true to his country roots and he has
produced fantastic songs with his band such as “The South's Gonna Do It
(Again),” “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The Legend of Wooley Swamp” and “In
America.” Fans must watch for his CD/DVD to be released October 13th,
titled Joy to the World, a
A VIP Meet and Greet with Mr. Daniels begins at 5:30 pm
and is only open for the first 100 tickets sold at $125 each. This includes one
